Infectious Media is thrilled to have recently won the Digital Trading Award for "Most Effective Digital Media Buy". The awards, now in their 3rd year, aim to celebrate the best examples of digital trading.

The winning campaign for John Lewis fought off competition from The7Stars and ZenithOptimedia. The campaign focused on research that showed people living within a forty minute drive-time of its stores are more engaged with the brand and are more likely to already shop at John Lewis. By targeting the half of the UK outside of this radius, John Lewis could focus on driving new customers previously less engaged with the brand.

John Lewis integrated geo-location data into Infectious Media’s programmatic technology to identify people living outside the radius and to serve adverts to them. This underpinned a plan that resulted in a CPA 49% below target.
